Pastors Bryce & Jewell Melancon
Our mission is to pursue the Purpose of
God with Passion, to evangelize locally and globally with the Gospel of Christ,
to empower people with godly principles, compassion for the lost, and to
challenge God’s people to strive for excellence in every aspect of their lives.
OUR WORSHIP
Prayer –
This fellowship was birthed as a
result of prayer and a vision. Therefore much emphasis is placed on the power of
prayer. As believers, we maintain an unshakable belief in our direct access to
God through Jesus Christ. “For men ought to
always pray and not faint.” (Luke 18:1)
Praise and Worship –
A time for praise
and worship gives the fellowship the opportunity to adore God and ascribe to His
“worship”. We sing praises unto God; we lift our hands, clapping of hands, bow
our heads, kneel, cry and even shout for joy. We are charismatic in our worship
expression.
The Word of God –
The proclamation of
the Gospel is the key to our ministry and worship service. The Gospel message is
Christ-centered, compassionate and compelling. Our worship is both
congregational and individual. As we worship together, each individual interacts
with God on a personal basis.

Mission Statement
EXALT CHRIST
We exalt Christ through a lifestyle of personal devotions and family devotions,
praise and worship, prayer and fasting, bible study and memorization. He must
be the center of all spiritual service.
Romans 12:l; "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that
you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your
reasonable (spiritual) service."
We exalt Christ through our preaching and teaching on the sovereignty and
lordship of Christ and nothing else.
1 Corinthians 2:2 - "For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus
Christ and Him crucified."
"Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according
to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not
according to Christ." (Colossians 2:8)
We exalt Christ through wise stewardship of our time, talents, money, and by
caring for our physical bodies. We exalt Christ in and through interpersonalrelationships
by honoring, serving and praying for one another.
EQUIP THE CHURCH
We equip the Church through Bible study, Seminars, Workshops, and by
teaching practical principles of Leadership, Evangelism, Church Growth,
Counseling and Spiritual Authority.
"And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists,
and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of the
ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the
faith and the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect (mature) man, to the
measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;" (Ephesians 4:ll-13)
EVANGELIZE THE WORLD
We evangelize the world by training and sending men and women into communities to share the gospel, pray
for the sick, give home bible studies, and by training and sending ministers to
plant new churches throughout the United States and the world.
Mark 16:15; “And he (Jesus) said to them, “Go ye into all the world and
preach the gospel to every creature.”
“Then He (Jesus) said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the
laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers
into His harvest.” (Matthew 9:37,
38)
Statement of Faith
We believe
in one God , Creator and Lord of the universe, eternally existing in three
persons (entities): father, Son and Holy Spirit.
(Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew
28:19(Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; Mark 12:29; John 10:30; Acts 5:3-4; 2 Corinthians 13:14;
Hebrews 1:1-3)
We
believe
that the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is God’s authoritative, inspired
Word, without error in all it’s teachings, including creation, history, it’s own
origins and salvation. It is the supreme and final authority in all matters of
belief and conduct. ( Matthew 5:18; John
17:17; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21; Revelation 22:18-19)
We
believe that Jesus Christ, God’s Son was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the
Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died a substitutionary, atoning death on the
Cross, rose bodily from the dead, and ascended to heaven, were as truly God and
truly man He is the only mediator between God and man.
(Isaiah 7:17, 9:6-7; Matthew 1:18-25;
Mark 14:61-62; Luke 3:22; John 1:1-3, 14, 29, 5:18, 8:58, 10:30; 2 Corinthians
5:21;
Philippians 2:5-11; Colossians 2:9; 1 Timothy 2:5; 1 John 5:20)
We believe
in the necessity of the work of the Holy Spirit for the individual’s new birth
and growth to maturity, and for the Church’s constant renewal in truth, wisdom,
faith, holiness, love, power, and mission. Every believer is called to live and
walk in the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit so that he/she will bear fruit
to the glory of God and not fulfill the lusts of the flesh.
(John 14:16-17, 26, 15:26-27, 16:7-15;
Acts 1:8; Romans 8:9, 14; 1 Corinthians 2:10-11, 6:19, 12:4-13; 2 Corinthians
3:18; Galatians 5:16-18, 22-23; Ephesians 4:30, 5:18-21)
We believe
that all people are lost sinners and cannot see the
Kingdom
of G, except through the
new birth, which takes place through repentance of sin and faith toward God.
Justification is by grace through faith in Christ alone.
(John 1:11-13, 3:16, 5:24, 10:28-30,
14:6; Romans 3:23-26, 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-10; Titus 3:5, Hebrews 7:24-25; 1
Peter 1:18-19; 1 John 5:11-13)
We believe that Jesus Christ is the head of the Church, which is made up of all believers
everywhere in the world. Locally, the church is a group
of believers who are organized to fulfill God’s will. Its calling is to worship
God and witness concerning its Head, Jesus Christ, proclaiming the Gospel among
all nations. Demonstrating its commitment by compassionate service to the needs
of human beings and promoting righteousness and justice.
(Acts 2:41-47; 1 Corinthians 12:13;
Ephesians
1:22-23; Colossians 1:18; Hebrews 10:25)
We believe that Jesus Christ will personally and visibly return in glory to raise the dead
and bring salvation and judgment to completion. God will fully manifest His
Kingdom when He establishes a new heaven and new earth, in which He will be
glorified forever and exclude all evil, suffering, and death.
(John 14:2-3; Romans 14:10-12; 1
Corinthians 15:51-54,
2 Corinthians 5:10; 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17; Revelations 20:11-15, 22:12-17)
